The Late Wuuna Simon Philip was a dedicated teacher of Divinity and History whose life demonstrated courage, determination, and an unwavering belief in the power of education. Born with visual impairment and later losing his sight, he never allowed blindness to define his future. Through perseverance, he attained a Diploma in Education and was appointed to teach Divinity and History at Kisiki College Namutumba, where he served diligently until his passing in March 2001. Beyond teaching, Wuuna Simon Philip envisioned a future where disadvantaged learners could access quality educational resources regardless of their circumstances. Although he passed away before realizing this dream, his vision lived on through his son, Kato Ivan Wuuna. After obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Kyambogo University and gaining over ten years of experience teaching Physics and Mathematics, Kato Ivan Wuuna committed himself to fulfilling his father's dream. During the COVID-19 lockdown, he founded Wunna Educational Services to make quality, reliable, and accessible educational resources available to learners and educators. Today, Wunna Educational Services continues to grow while carrying forward the legacy of its Vision Bearer. “His vision became our mission.”
